NEWS FROM THE JEROME DRAPER FAMILY - March, 2025

After careful consideration we have decided to end an eighty-three year streak where one or another Jerome Draper has been involved in some aspect of the wine business.

It all started with Jerome Sr, then Jerome Jr, Jerome III, and finally Jerome IV.

This means that our store, the last vestige of our presence in the wine business, will close by the end of April, 2025.  It’s been a great ride.

We want to thank our very wonderful customers who have patronized our store for the last five, ten, twenty, and even for some fifty years.  We have enjoyed every minute of it.  You are so appreciated.

Over the next two months we will be liquidating (ha!) our inventory.  We have carefully chosen wines over the years based on quality while keeping our $12 average price per bottle.  We have always believed that in these times, given the amazing wines available, there are plenty of good solid drinking wines available and that is us – the drinking wine company.  We still believe it.
